Ordered My First Book at Amazon.com

I just ordered a book online at Amazon.com. Frankly, I actually accidently did it. No, it is a good book and I definately will buy it just not so soon. I want to buy it later with my other want-to-buy items, so that I can save the expensive shipment fee. But, I clicked the “place an order” button!

It is too late when I realised my silly mistake. :cry:

The book is already placed in order and Amazon.com is processing it. I tried to cancel the order but I can’t find the “Need to cancel an item?” button, as stated in the Help page!

Now the book’s status is “Shipping Soon”…

We are preparing these items for shipment and this portion of your order cannot be canceled or changed.

Well, I will get it around August 5, 2005 – August 17, 2005. shrug

Well, we do make mistake, don’t we? This time I just lose some bucks on the shipment fee but I will get a good book, which may helps me to earn more profit online. Oh, I also proved that PB debit card CAN be used in Amazon.com! :P

    Small things go a long way. This little mistake might earn you more than you could ever imagine! Everything happens for a reason. We just have to wait a while to see the reason behind certain things. But being the worry wart that I am, I’d be regretting over it for some time, if I were you. :-D

    Sure it was a mistake?

    Anyways, if you were to add the price and the shipping cost, how much will the total cost of the book be? Will it be cheaper if you were to buy it at any local bookstore?

    I too have a Visa Electron debit card, but its issued by BSN. I’ve placed a book order at Amazon.com using my card…I hope the order gets through ;)
