I will attend the Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival. I am not a photographer but I am keen to learn more about photography.
I want to get my first DSLR, Canon EOS 450D kit with EF-S 18-200mm IS lens. The total should be around RM4K+. Hopefully I will be able to find some good deals at the festival. :)

I guess you mean “I am not a photographer but I ..” :)
I’ll be there on Sunday evening
I’ll most likely be attending this as well. Want to see if anything of value to purchase. :)
Oh yeah, Liew could you please email me. I want to ask you something regarding a blog campaign. Thanks.
@Tien Soon: corrected. You go there to shoot models? ;)
@Danny: email sent
Wah, getting a DSLR. That’s a high end camera with many functions to learn like exposure compenstion, depth of field, and many other manual adjustments. Perhaps you might become a professional photographer soon.
Yeah good step to lim to get DSLR..Well we might get *High Defs* Picture on liew blogs after this :)
i am a newbie, but got a interest in photograph too.

btw, it is must go event -so I will be there tmr 11 a.m
A good camera is not an end of the story, getting a good quality graphic arts printer (17″ wide and above) and use it to print the shots will allow you to appreciate the details of the photos.
Seems like i missed a very fantastic event. A blend of Kuala Lumpur photography and travel must have been the perfect combination and a big tourist attraction. The photographers in this pic looks like a kuala Lumpur version of paparazzi..lol. Well am also not a photographer but very keen on getting better skills in photography.
