YESTERDAY was Valentine’s Day. Phew~ It is over! Valentine’s Day 2005 is my first valentine’s day without a lover, since I got first girlfriend at Form 5. Should I proud or sad about it?

Last Girlfriend
Today(15 Feb) is the one year “anniversary” since my last girlfriend broke up with me. Last year Valentine’s day is on Saturday, she didn’t show up as promised. I can’t get to contact her for the whole day. On the next day(Sunday, 15 Feb 2004), she officially broke up with me.

She said to me through online by Instant Messenger, same as what my all previous girlfriends did. I know them via Internet and also broke up with them via Internet. Duh…

I am not sure have I drop any tear that day. It took me one day to accept the fact and back to normal. Well, I am not an emotional guy.

We still contact each other after broke up but less after she got new bf. These few months, I don’t get her sms reply anymore. However, she forwarded a Chinese New Year greeting sms to me last few days. Quite surprised. “Perhaps she accidently send it?”, I think. You know, you can send one same message to multiple sms recipents at one time.

First Love
Talking about girlfriend, my first girlfriend visited me during Chinese New Year. In fact, she comes every Chinese New Year even after broke up. Oh, she is the first who visit my home this Chinese New Year.

She will fly to Europe soon for her final year study and posibility settle down there with her boyfriend. Their relationship is stable that they have plan to marry in next one or two year, eventhough she is only 21 year old now. Congrats!

Second Girlfriend
“Happy Valentine’s Day!”, I send her the SMS yesterday. As far as I know, she has no boyfriend now and waiting for her Mr.Right. Surprisingly, we are working at the same street. Her company is only next few doors from my current company. I across her office everyday but we seldom meet. We had lunch together few times, anyway.

She is a very nice girl but doesn’t has good love experiences. I often feel that she pretends to be happy when I see her. She is the kind of people that do not want others worry about her. Wish her get her Mr. Right this year.

Me?
I got an Valentine’s day greeting card yesterday afternoon from a 20 year old girl, who I met only once twice at last few years. As far as I can remember, she is a short and slim pretty girl. I am the first net friend she met. We seldom contact after I went to KL for studies.

Recently she got her first handphone and starts to miss call me whenever she is free. According to her, the missed call means “I am free. You can call me now.” However, I never call her until now. Only SMS and missed call back.

Actually, many guys woo her but she always reject them. I wonder what’s the reason. “I am very hard to woo”, she told me. Heh! Sometimes woo by guys does feel great.

Basically, I do not have girlfriend now for three reasons:

• No mood for Love
• No confident on Love
• Keep away from young girls(under 20)

Thought:
No girlfriend or boyfriend is not a big deal. I have living for a year without girlfriend and still in a piece! Family, friends and works CAN fill the girlfriend’s place in heart.

If you ask me, “What is the biggest advantage of not having a girlfriend?”. I would say, “Save money!”. You know, IF I am in love, I probably buy an iPod for my girlfriend this year… eventhough I don’t bear to spend the money on myself.

P/S: My last girlfriend was asking for a portable DVD player but I was not able to afford it last time(and put in ToBuy list). When I can afford it now, she is not beside me.
