DSL Light Is Not Blinking, Finally…
Filed in: Tmnet — March 29th, 2004
Hmmm… seems like my Streamyx line is okay already. It has no disconnect(except manually reconnected by me) since Sunday afternoon.
Though the technician has yet to check it at my home, the line is okay now. Even I purposely disconnected it, it will reconnect back without problem(Man, I was really worry that it will not reconnect back!).
Conclusion? The problem is at Tmnet side and they have fixed it.
What was the problem actually? No idea…
However, I prefer not to put 100% trust on the line yet. Give it another 24 hours, if ok then ok. Else, still have to call the technician.
Wish me luck!
P/S: The line is connected at 288kbps now, which is rather low for 512k package.

Your Streamyx will only get better. They probably reset the ports at their end for your connection. Once its more stable your connection will be faster also… but jangan harap to get 512kbps lah…

1 thing i learn from lowyat.net members is that
if u met problem from tmnet, u must keep bugging them
always call them or else they dun do their works
another thing is if u can get refund if serious problem
let say if disconnect for whole day, then u can ask them refund 1 day fee on ur bill

ardinor: Frankly, I never use WAP phone before. No $$$~
Anyway, if your wap phone support, try to turn on Authentication on SMTP server setting. You may asked to enter your username and password.
Or, use smtp2.tm.net.my insteads of smtp.tm.net.my.
Note: The smtp.tm.net required the “From:”(sender address) to be TmNet email.
Hope this helps.
